When asked what she wanted to be "when she grew up," Amy’s answer varied from fashion designer to fashion buyer to interior design. From designing the living spaces in her Barbie dream home, to assembling and accessorizing outfits in her closet, she was captivated by the way colors, textures, and silhouettes could tell a story and evoke a feeling. Obsessed with the art of style and the way a well-designed environment or outfit could change a person’s entire outlook. She embraced the concepts of style and structure and how they can work together in harmony.
The turning point came when Amy tackled her most ambitious project yet: the complete renovation of a lake home. It was more than just a construction project; it was a labor of love that required balancing function with a carefree relaxed yet high-end design. Stripping the space down and rebuilding it into a sanctuary confirmed what she had always known—creating beautiful spaces wasn't just a hobby; it was her calling.
